I had mine on the 10th and I feel mostly fine but I think by the sounds of it I've been taking it much easier than you. I'm only just now starting to go out for short walks. I can relate to the wanting to do more, I'm still too worried to do things like hoovering and driving in case I overdo it and set my recovery back. I would say to go easy on yourself and try and embrace taking things a bit more slowly if you can as I'm sure we won't have much chance to do so in the future xx
This is my 3rd c section & by far the worst in terms of recovery! Each time has been so different - I currently have an infection because of my overhang 🥴 I have 3 under 4 so no chance of me resting im getting really frustrated I can’t do much so I feel you on that one
I am the same. I’m such an independent person that staying at home is really hard for me. Got signed off to drive today so I know that’s going to help without having to walk further. I did get an infection, just make sure it’s not red and hot too touch. Also it will ooze gunk if it’s really bad x
@Charlotte how do you get signed off to drive? X
@Miriam hey. You have to go to the doctors. They can be funny about it
same here, however I had mine recently. I feel like it is healing and then suddenly i feel massive pain where the incision is . I guess it’s normal unfortunately. Anything that requires using abdominal muscles is a no currently and that includes even standing up from bed :(
