Fussiness

Anyone else dealing with a more fussy baby? More crying, harder to get to sleep etc. My little girl (born 21st August) is seriously making me work for her naps (sometimes she falls asleep then wakes up minutes later 😅), is fussy on the boob, more gassy and just generally crying more!

This sounds just like my baby who is 4 weeks on Monday! Does not sleep and I’ll rock him for half an hour he will appear asleep then eyes open!

My little girl was born on the 22nd August and is the same 🥲 I think it must be a growth spurt thing

Same! I've been having this for past 2 weeks though 😭😂

In the same boat! LG will be 6 weeks on Monday and we are so lucky they she sleeps amazingly at night but I cannot put her down during the day, she is so fussy!

Yes me. My little boy 6 weeks old can be really bad. Crying as soon as he wakes up. Non stop ect. Very gasy. I He's got a massive rash on his body that's never gone away as well so I'm trying dairy free for a month to see if it improves

Same here!! Struggling getting her in her cot at night to sleep end up co sleeping and she’s attached to be during the day x

@Samantha my little one has a rash all over too 😭 he is formula fed though

Ahh glad lots of us are in the same boat! @Samantha will be interesting to see if this helps! Good luck 🤞🏻

You described my baby. She was born 18th

OMG this is my baby girl🥲😂

Download the wonder weeks app. It tells you when they are going through a leap and this can cause more fussy behaviour

My son was born on exactly the same day and is doing the exact same thing. Currently feeding him after he was fed 45 minutes ago. During the day he is entertained for about 20 minutes in the morning the rest of the day he is fussing.

@Chloe yes I’ve got this. I do think it’s all true but doesn’t always match up!

Same for my 5 week old. Been doing this since 11am this morning and no doubt will only settle properly at night 😪 how do you get through this mentally? What do you do when they won't stop crying?

@Nori go through a list and hope it stops at one of the points. Feed, change, rock, go for a walk bath ect. 😩

@Chloe but you have to pay for that app...

@Nori it’s really hard! But I just remind myself it’s all a phase and won’t last forever . When she cries and won’t stop I often listen to music that makes me happy! You got this 💜

My boy is 8 weeks and similar sometimes. They are going through massive developmental leaps at this age. That's why they're so unsettled. It will pass but it doesn't feel like it at the time!
