Deep fatigue and some cold symptoms?

Hi All, my husband and I are both experiencing some illness and I'm curious if anyone else in the area has had these symptoms and found a solution because it's been 2 weeks. He has had cold symptoms, me just headaches. I go to sleep at 830pm and wake at 530- 6am exhausted. Take naps when baby naps- still exhausted. Getting much better doesn't seem to be in sight. It reminds me of having mono many years ago. It's ridiculous being this tired. Anyone else experiencing this and found relief?

Yes this happened to me about 3 weeks ago, couldn’t figure out what it was cause it didn’t quite feel like a cold? Just felt icky, tired. Throat kinda hurt when I woke up but would go away during the day… just time for me :/ I tried medicine and it didn’t do anything. Just keep trying to rest

Sounds like another Covid

Anytime my family is sick I make a 20 clove of garlic chicken noodle soup. You just make normal chicken noodle soup and add your garlic in whole cloves. Try to get 3-5 cloves in each bowl of soup you serve to your family. Heck put 30-40 cloves. It doesn’t make the soup super garlicky because the cloves are whole and they just cook down like soft vegetables and sometimes if you cook it long enough all of the garlic will magically “disappear “ Start some fermented garlic syrup, it will be ready in a month. Make garlic confit for some toast. Of if your family is not a fan of chicken noodle there are so many garlic soup recipes online. I made mine up, it’s 1 lb roasted cauliflower, 3 bulbs of garlic, 10 baby carrots and 3 celery sticks, 1 cup of great northern beans, chicken broth and your choice of seasoning. I used a shallot and herb one from Costco. Blend and enjoy. Add bacon bits and croutons on top.

Vitamin c 2000 mg daily. Take 1000 in morning after breakfast and 1000 after dinner. Vitamin d 4000 ius and zinc 100 mg MAKE SURE TO TAKE WITH FOOD!

I had the same experience last week same exact thing that Kayla above is describing except my husband didn’t experience it with me so I assumed it was pregnancy symptoms. Lots of rest mama

Have you had your thyroid checked postpartum? I learned recently that pregnancy and all the hormonal fluctuations after child birth can sometimes change a woman's thyroid function. Even if you can't/don't want to go to the doctor's there are dietary suggestions for hyper and hypothyroidism. If you gained and haven't lost weight postpartum maybe sleep apnea? I struggle with both of these things and your symptoms sound exactly like mine.

I'm going through the same thing right now, I've tested for covid and flu but both came back negative. Went to the Dr and she said there's no infection presenting so recommended staying on top of fluids, resting, using a humidifier, saline spray/Flonase, and the like. It's been at least a week for me and still pooped over here
