Crying with Dad

I’m looking for advice or to know if anyone else is in the same boat. My baby is a little over 5 months old and she tends to cry with her dad. I just went back to work in the middle of August, and we’ve made a routine of me doing almost everything when I get home. It’s not that my husband isn’t happy to help, but in a sense, I’m being selfish and want that time with my baby when I get home. I’m afraid it isn’t allowing them to bond, so I’ve taken a step back and let him do more with her. She’s getting better, but for some reason she just WAILS whenever it’s his turn to feed her solids. I watch, and he does everything I do. We cannot figure out for the life of us why she does it. Has anyone had any similar experiences?

It could be that your baby is use to the routine of you being the primary caretaker. So she's more familiar with your voice and smell. Just let her have time with papa so they can form more of that familiarity, it can be gradual. Just like how you guys are doing let him have time feeding her or even cuddling or wearing the baby. It'll take a little but I hope that helps! You're both doing great ☺️ baby is just learning both parents.
