@IFEOLUWA 💙
How about you ready to feed milk? Thank you for creating this It looks lovely.
@Mama E I class that under the formula in the baby’s bag. Still deciding what brand but I’m hoping to just be able to breast feel. My colostrum has been coming in since 15 weeks so my midwife expects a healthy milk supply
Thank you x
Thank you 😊
@Kash yep both on there. Slippers and nipple pads ☺️
Personally I wouldn’t take your own paracetamol as they don’t really like you bringing your own. Mainly because they want to keep track Of what you’ve had if you’re unable to vocalise what you’ve taken. They will use hospital medications x
This is nice! Thank you 😊
@sarah we were advised by the midwife to take our own pain relief in as they are so busy that you often wait a long time to get the pain relief you need. As long as you let the midwives know it's fine. @Megan I know you've got slippers but I would deffo advise flip flops for the showers, there isn't a cleaner hopping in to clean between patients showering!
Nipple cream Don't forget to get your colostrum out the freezer! Does the labour ward have low lighting? You might want to bring some battery candles or fairy lights if not as bright Hospital lights are not relaxing! I also made a playlist that I had on in the background Make sure the pjs are breastfeeding friendly Do you want to take a gym ball? As my pregnancy progressed I found bouncing on it quite comfortable! Pregnancy pillow? Sudocrem seems so strong for a newborns skin and you've got your liquid gold stash to use!
@Samantha I really like the fairy lights thingy. Waiting to see the ward we would be in as we have opted for the alongside me midwifery unit
Thank you
