I’d wait to do anything like that until you feel more “normal” around your incision. I’ve never gotten a wax but I could hardly stand my panty line by my incision until around 7 months. I practiced massage around and on my incision to try to relieve the numbness and I think that is what helped?
No lie my first wax after my c section was one of the most painful wax experiences I’ve had and I go every 4 weeks your nerves down there feel everything!
@Tori what massages do you do to help that area?
@Marianna girl at this point idk if i can do it. The thought of it is driving me nuts.
I still feel a little sensitive shaving over my scar and I’m almost 7 months pp 😭
@Kitty I almost kicked the wax lady and kept asking her to give me a few seconds and was sweating up a storm didn’t go back for like a month or two after I had to recover haha but if your pain tolerance is low highly recommended waiting a few more months but
I went and got mine done at 8 months pp! I told my waxer I was 8 months pp from c section & she said she could absolutely just do services as normal or we could customize it if I was nervous about going near the scar, more so for my peace of mind than it was a physical concern
@Parker 又 how was it feeling wise 🫠 I’m only 3 weeks pp but now knowing im going to definitely wait my 8 months just keep trimming perfect time for summer anyways😩🤞
I waxed at 6 weeks no issues..
I had it done a few days ago at 12 weeks pp and it was fine. It hurt a little more than usual as my hair was longer but it didn’t hurt around the scar as it still feels numb there for me. Waxer said as long as the scar has healed it’s fine to have a wax

I used hair removal cream for the first few times before I felt brave enough to use a razor. But you are healed externally fully by 6 weeks so it’s fine from them xx
@Kitty Id look up c section scar massage and go from there. There really isn’t anything you can do wrong with massaging it at 4 months pp. I was in this program called Birth Recovery that I do not recommend for other reasons and they had a c section massage routine so I used theirs. It had me rub, push, and pinch my scar if that helps. I wish you the best❤️
Same girl!! My muscles are effed and hurt when I step sideways wrong. Imagining getting a wax I’m not sure what to do! Commenting so I can hear what the experienced mamas say
