Dressing gown, but only a thin one as them wards for babies are normally very warm!
Something light, those wards are so freaking warm!
You'll only want a thin one. Hospital heating will be on and unless you get a room by yourself or get a window bed in the shared bay where you can open the window a jar then you will bake! I had my baby in April via emergency c section and to be fair I just walked about with shorts and a hospital gown for 3 days because it was soooooo hot
I had a long nightgown and to be honest it was so hot I ended up taking it off and just used a blanket when I was in bed!
Do a dressing gown. They asked for mine as their triage was on another floor so you are wearing only a hospital gown for the procedure that has a couple of fastens at the back. The dressing gown covers you flashing your bum between getting changed and going to theatre also bring some slippers/slidere … they take them off you when you get into theatre
