Touching head

My little one is often touching the back of her head and pulling her ear. She’s totally fine in herself, no temperature, not crying or screaming but just keeps doing it. Is anyone else baby doing the same??

Tired… wants to be put in bed

Tired baby! My baby scratches his head in the front and back when he’s sleepy When he was 3 months we couldn’t contain it. He looked like a cat got him

my baby does this when she’s tired and so did her big sister ☺️ they might also rub their face as if they have an itchy nose 😂

Yep my baby also does this when he’s getting sleepy, it’s a good cue to look out for and get them ready for bed or a nap before they get overtired

Just regarding the ears. I found out this week that nerves in the teeth and ears are linked, so sometimes teething babies pull on their ears when they are sore. I’m not sure what age your baby is but could it be linked to teething?

Oh wow! Really, tiredness?! She does it at the most odd times!! Good to know though - thank you! I guess this could be because she only does 30 minute naps - she cannot link her sleep cycles in the day 😓😭 @Merion @Chloe @Nikki @Char

@Laura yes - I’d see this too! I was less concerned about the ear tugging because I thought it maybe teething. Although, I feel like I’ve been saying “oh she must be teething” for months, about all sorts of things 😂 and yet, still none of the little buggers have come through 🙄😂

Tiredness or teething, hitting is also common too
