Me and my partner are going there this year and I will be 38 weeks! Just got to make sure you rest whilst your there as loads of benches to sit on.
Personally I’d give it a swerve but I have birth last time at week 38. Winter wonderland is so crowded nowadays, there’s not many places to sit and the nearby stations get chocka with people. There’s lots of one way systems and idiot security in high vis making people queue and bottleneck. It’s just over busy now and ill managed.
I could think of nothing worse personally 😂 I get VERY uncomfortable and can barely walk by most evenings by 36 weeks xx
Depends how far it is for you and how comfortable you are with being able to get to your hospital of choice should you go into labour. My husband and I are having a day/night away when I'm 38 weeks , a little child free baby moon before she arrives 🥰
When I was pregnant with my first we went when I was 36 weeks. I can’t lie a full day around London followed by late night winter wonderland my feet were in agony! But it was so worth it! It’s obviously personal preference. Just remember you always run the risk of giving birth at a random hospital in London if you are not local to your own! But it will be the last time you probably do anything as a couple for a while! This time around I will be 37 weeks and going round Bham German market for a day trip 😂 I like to push myself to my limits apparently! Missing out is not in my territory! I’m pregnant not disabled 🤷♀️
I went years ago, not pregnant! And I found it incredibly hard to be on my feet for so long, and it was so cold to be out all day. We also don't live there so felt like we had to spend the whole day there. I found it hard to find places to sit down as it was so busy everywhere. Personally I wouldn't go whilst heavily pregnant xx
Give it a miss 😂 far too risky to be in the middle of all that when things start
I would love to but I know I wouldn’t be able to manage it. I also don’t live in London but not far away (in Essex on the central line) but I know that a day out there means a lot of walking and I’m so breathless, uncomfortable and my hips hurt I know I wouldn’t be able to manage it sadly which is a shame as I’ve taken my daughter every year since she was a baby, she’s now 11 and first year I won’t be taking her.
Personally I'd give it a miss but then I'm an over worrier 🤣 have you looked at or been to any of the light displays like wakehurst, leonardslee or bedgebury? Not sure if they're closer? They get busy but imagine winter wonderland is manic in comparison and they have quieter slots.
