Autism or Adhd

Hey everyone looking for some advice My LO was referred for a autism assessment last year they said they don't suspect high autism but there is a main core expressive language delay Which is impacting on his social communication when he as a melt down he bangs his head on floor punches him self in the head face stomach legs he use to hit and bite me but that wasn't happened in a while if I take him out in public i have to say were we going step bystep but if cant go were he wants at that moment he crys screams and at tines throws himself on the floor same if I. Don't take him in shop after nursery but he is very high pitch so there is always an audience looking he is constantly on the go he never keeps still always running he as so much energy I feel like I have no support the hv is useless as she is the one who reffed him for the autism assessment but then she told nursery she doesn't know why he was reffed for assessment any advice would really mean a lot to me
