Sex after section
Is there different advice about having sex after your section or is it the same recommended 6 weeks?
Anyone had sex sooner? How was it?
I’m 4 weeks post section, and me and my partner are slowly getting that bit of time to get back to our old selves and was wondering if it’s too soon?

Id wait for your 6 week checkup and get cleared by the GP
We tried at 4 weeks, deffinately painful/burning.
We did it at 4 weeks and I got an internal infection so I'd deffo say wait 6 weeks if I could go back I would of waited x

It is definitely too soon. 6 weeks is recommended as there is a hole in your uterus where your placenta was, and your cervix is still open. Having sex will introduce bacteria into the cervix and into your healing uterus. C section or not x
