I moved from Manchester to stoke at like 30 weeks and it was a bit confusing switching hospitals as because it was so close to end of pregnancy they didn’t end up getting all my records/information from saint Mary’s! So I’d do it sooner rather than later x

I didn’t but I think it should be easy as both those hospitals come under St Mary’s for care. I was offered to transfer from St Mary’s to Tameside as my midwife care came under Tameside but I declined x

Hey! I changed hospitals 4 times during my pregnancy due to moving😅 you just call the new maternity unit and they should either request a transfer of care or ask you to get your current hospital to call them. You will most likely need to go there to give them bloods as they have to have their own blood records, this can’t just be transferred… Hope this helps!🤍

I moved from Bolton to wythenshawe an they were much better. Great care and an online system where you can see all your tests letters etc. they were very thorough and got all my notes from Bolton and made their own. Plus they are in the same trust the 2 you mentioned both come under st Mary’s x

Because north Manchester and Wythenshaw are in the same trust, it’s super easy. You can call them or just ask at your next midwife appointment. The midwife literally just changes it on your mft app. I moved from st Mary’s Oxford road to Wythenshaw around 32 weeks in hopes that I could use the birth centre.

I moved from st Mary’s to wythenshawe but they’re the same trust so it wasn’t difficult- so I think you’ll be okay! Just ring your community midwives and let them know and they’ll sort it all x

I think should be fine if you ask. Pretty sure Manchester and whythenshaw is the same trust and maternity care anyway.

I moved from Huddersfield hosp to Wythenshawe without any issues x

I moved hospital one day before my induction 🤣 I was supposed to give birth at st Mary’s but they had no beds so was moved to North Manchester and I honestly had the best experience the care was absolutely amazing there x

i moved from oxford road to wythenshaw at 34w pregnancy no issues x

Yes, I moved a couple of weeks before due date. They're in the same trust. Midwives will sort it for you xx
