@Holly I get this with them communicating however my daughter will get me a nappy when she down a poo. This is before I even noticed she done one. She also doesn’t like her nappies on and tries to take them all all the time x
@Megan that's brill. Suppose you can only try it and start slowly :) one piece of advice I was given from a girl who nannies and works in childcare settings was "don't go back" basically if you stop using nappies then realise weeks later it's too hard .. don't revert back as it makes it so much more challenging to do again later. I've also heard girls tend to be ready sooner than boys, but I imagine that's very much child dependent :)
@Holly I think I’m just going to do a lot of research and wait for more people experience and then go from there I don’t want to start to early or start when she not quite ready x
My LG sits on the potty before bathtime for the last 2 weeks. She's almost 15 months. It was her choice to start as it was in the bathroom. Were still not completely starting just getting her used to it x
I would start her in morning when she get up and b4 bed after her bath, tell signs are if she knows she weeing and pooing and if u no the signs that's she's doing it, I.e she goes to a corner to poo or bends down stuff like that. My girls bar one was quicker then my boys. One was toilet trained at 2 the other 18 months 🙄
I'm waiting it out until my son can communicate a bit better and let me know specifically that he needs the toilet or has done the toilet. His poops are also not always solid yet so .. I just can't 😂 but I hope in the next maybe 6-12 months we can make a start
