This isn't the answer you're looking for and this is not to come off like an asshole, this is coming from a mom with 2 years under her belt so far and a nurse studying to be a practitioner....Please be careful traveling with a baby younger than 6 months, especially during flu and virus season. A lot of medications aren't given to those younger than 6 months if they became sick. I'd reconsider traveling and scheduling it when she's a little older. It might be easier to do it now because she's small and can't really move around much but for headache sake...don't lol. If you do end up going, DO NOT use public bathrooms to change her even in the plane. Too many germs!

Not related to baby, but just a reminder to bring charger converters if where you’re going doesn’t use the same plugs 😊

@Roya only going on a 1 hour flight as that’s where we are relocating in a few months so the journey needs to happen. Not going far.

We went on holiday when my baby was 6 months and honestly it was easy 😂. I took the fidget spinners, feed on take off and landing to help with their ears. My baby slept the whole time! (Only a 2 hour flight). Dress them in comfy clothes and take layers as planes can get cold, keep all of babies things in a separate bag so you can have it down by your feet. I had to use the toilets onboard as my baby needed her nappy changing, I am cabin crew so I know how dirty planes are! You can always take some sanitiser wipes to wipe down the tray table and area around you x

@Amy thank you🥰

At that age they are pretty easy to travel with, I would take milk for take off a dummy if they use one and essentials like nappies and wipes.

If you're going somewhere warm, a pram fan and shade 100% x

We just got back from traveling with our 5 month old and honestly I won’t be doing that again for at least a few years 😅 lol. But we took 4 flights (12 hours each way). Some were easy and others were tough, but we survived. The most useful things for us were mylicon gas drops, extra pacifiers, toys, blanket, disposable formula bottles/nipples, her doona stroller and extra clothes for the flight. It’s definitely easier to pack light and rent/buy at your destination if possible.

Just got back from a trip with my 3.5 month old. 10 hours each way and a layover. Here are my lifesaver items I could not have done it without. - kibou travel diaper bag - I could grab baby and this bag and run off to change him in a flash. It held a few diapers, wipes, changing pad, hand sani, my phone and cards perfectly - our bigger diaper bag for everything else including refills for the smaller one was the no reception club ‘the getaway bag’ and the way you can organize it was a game changer. - silver cross jet travel stroller - no need to check! - baby carrier - have the artipoppe and love it. - amma nursing cocoon if you’re nursing. - travel bottle washing kit - cheap on amazon - ceres breast milk chiller - baby brew bottle warmer - finally a my breast friend pillow - my husband told me it was too big but I insisted and it was life saving. It was like a hard bed for him on my lap so I wasn’t struggling to hold him. He barely even fussed the whole time!

@Courtney so helpful thank you! I actually just ordered the silver cross clic!😍
