Please speak to someone, Midwife or health visitor, anyone that can help you. You are not a bad mum, you're just in the thick of it, colic on its own can be extremely painful for baby and mix in witching hour etc it can be horrendous. I get the same sort of nights, I know where you're coming from. Please reach out, you're enough for baby and all they want right now is your love ❤️
firstly sending support as finding your feet with a new baby is not easy. secondly this isn't normal so I would seek advice from health professionals it could be baby has an intolerance or colic or reflux. are you breast feeding or formula if formula maybe switch to an anti colic and reflux and try it for at least a week. I would be feeling very frustrated but please remember they can't express what's going on in their little bodies so when in pain will cry i would definitely reach out to health professionals ASAP.... my son had reflux and at first health professionals dismissed me when I would say he was in pain and sick until they saw the volume of sick. I switched to Dr browns bottles brought aptamil for reflux and regurgitation and it really improved his reflux. I used to find it so upsetting seeing him uncomfortable and what should be a normal feeding natural bonding experience felt like hell prior to changing the above. I would dread feeds etc.. it's tough don't be hard on yourself.
sorry for the essay but also get out for a walk fresh air will do you and baby the world of good... good luck I just had to write an essay as.hate the thought of anyone struggling ❤️
Have you thought about allergies? My baby was like this, I thought it was colic. I had enough and went to the doctor, we got put on cows milk allergy formula nutrimigem and he’s a total different baby. I’m not saying it is that but I would definitely seek some professional help, we have a feeding team in Bolton do you have one near you? X
Hey anyone in your situation would feel the same way! Give yourself grace, it can’t be easy. Is there anyone that can help you so you can take a break? Sending you lots of love
