Mines 11 weeks, she does babble a lot but doesn’t grab or hold things. On her play mat she started in the past couple of days trying to kick the hanging bits, but no sign of any interest in using her arms/hands. They all develop and learn at their own pace 😘
My 8 week old will "hold" a muslin etc not grabbing toys yet and makes a few coos etc but nothing major. X
Nothing major here either! My LB is 9 weeks old and will make the odd sounds here and there with us and smile, he grasps onto our fingers and our clothes but not toys yet! He does bat his toys on his play gym thingy sometimes but again nothing crazy! They’re still very young!
My 10 week old will coo intermittently when spoken to. Doesn’t grab for things, will hold a toy that we put in her hand for a couple of seconds. She kicks a lot and is starting to put weight through her legs if we stand her up but basically at this stage they’re still not expected to do much at all ☺️ You’re doing a great job lovely
Mines just started to make the odd sounds but can’t hold anything yet
I haven’t actually tried mine with toys or rattles yet? I’ll give it a go tomorrow. Every morning for the last week my little one and I have a “conversation” to start the day and he’s been responding more and more each day, need pause so he can respond back with a noise otherwise he just lets me talk at him and not say anything haha!
Were babbling and holding his matchstick monkey and trying to shove it in his mouth. Sometimes it makes it in...sometimes he'll just poke himself in the chin or cheeky. We encouraged putting toys in his hand as soon as he started grabbing his muslin and showing he was trying. He's super curious though which I think is why he's tried so hard. If only he'd put the same effort into sleeping in his own bed....
My baby is 9weeks. Just had his GP check up and he said he is doing well as he can do a wee push up while on belly and look from side to side and hold for quite a while. But he can’t hold rattles or soft toys yet. He can grab hold of my fingers though. He also makes coo noises but not babbling properly yet. So wouldn’t worry at all, it’s still to come. xx
Mine makes the odd sounds like she's "chatting," but not all the time. She's only just started grasping her blanket and a comforter occasionally, but isn't yet holding rattles or toys or seem overly interested in them!
