Breast feeding

Hello, I'm looking for some advice. My son is 2 weeks old and was favouring my left side. And I was pumping more on the right to stop it being lopsided. I'm now offering the right side first but I have noticed a few things. My right side is a lot softer than my left And the right side is producing significantly less when pumping compared to the left. Does anyone have any idea why or how I can fix this? If I can bring up the production on my right side I'd be able to pumping significantly more and be able to have a little supply which would really help.

Hiya! You could try power pumping on the right side which mimics cluster feeding therefore letting your body know it’s in demand to supply more milk therefore an increase should occur x

I went through this with my first born, he also favoured my left over my right, you just have to stick to it, offer the right boob first for a while until it evens out, the more you feed and pump the more milk your body will produce it just takes a little while to kick in, also try feeding baby more during the hours of 2am and 6am as this is when prolactin is at its highest and it will help massively towards your milk production, drink water like crazy as it will get your body to produce more blood and then you will make more milk. It’s hard breastfeeding but so worth it, you’ve got this mama!!! 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼

Hiya, I had this for quite a while, though my son preferred the side that produced less milk 🤷‍♀️ I was also pumping and just kept at it. It never produced as much but at some point it made a significant leap and was making a fair amount
