I had an absolutely brilliant induction experience! The staff were amazing. We went in around 5pm Oct 17th, induced with 2 prostins, waters went 9am on the 18th, my son was born 9.28pm that evening. Couldn’t have asked for a better birth story, the care was so attentive, I loved it❤️ and my partner was allowed to stay the whole time even on the postnatal ward which was my biggest anxiety so was super happy about that😊

@Jasmine Myatt that’s so good to hear so nervous I am can they ring you anytime that day? X

Sorry I’ve got total baby brain fog I meant to put sept not Oct🙈 yeah they can ring anytime, they aim to call during 9-5 but they can’t guarantee that so be ready for anything, we were 6th on the list to be induced that day and we got called at 3pm x

I was induced for reduced movements 29/08. Went in at 4pm, started the induction process at 6pm. Had 1 pessary, moved up to delivery suite around 2am and delivered the baby at 11:48am. We were back home by 4pm the same day. The induction suite is lovely, you have your own private room with bathroom and a massive bath. There are snacks and hot drinks available in the day room for yourself but your birthday partner will need to bring their own if you have one. They can ring you any time of the day/night so be prepared with bags packed and keep your phone on loud. Keep your birth plan flexible but make sure your birth partner advocates for you. You will do amazing and good luck ❤️

I was induced back in Feb due to medical problems the induction suite is lovely! You get you're own big room with bathroom there's a room where you can help yourselves to drinks, the staff are great too! Take lots of things to keep yourself occupied as it can be a long process you will no doubt need the pessary then possibly other things after. also take lots of snacks. Good luck x
