I was 11 months PP after an emergency c-section when I got pregnant with my second. It was fully intentional and pregnancy + baby were perfectly healthy. Not one of my midwives or consultants said a thing about the gap being small.
I’m due today and my firstborn is almost 17 months old. I’ve had a few doctors comment on the short age gap (not negatively) but in terms of risks and birth plan etc but I’m planning a VBAC and have had no issues so far x
I was told 12 months by my hospital xx
They told me To wait 9-12mnths right on my sons 1st bday I was 2 weeks pregnant
I got pregnant at 9 months pp which is obviously not alot of time and might seem massively short to some people but it felt right for me and would never ever have got pregnant before 9 months pp. It carries so many risks and could ruin any chances of having a VBAC
I’m not saying to do this but same situation happened to me and I’m 4 months PP and pregnant again.
My OB advised 18 months between births, so can try from 9 months PP.
My daughter was 3-4 months old when I found out ib as expecting her sister, wasn't planned but everything went well and my 2 are 13 months apart xx
I fell pregnant 7 months pp after planned c section - so far so good 🤷🏼♀️ xx
My 2nd was 14 months when I discovered that I was pregnant, they do make the recommendation because your at risk of the scar tearing, I would just seek advice from your doctor my hospital told me 12-18 months
