I think it depends on the child. But my daughter has her first appointment in December. I’ve always wondered about dental care though. Most children’s toothpaste is labeled 2 and up. So I usually brush with water but I notice food pieces sometimes. Hence the dentist appointment. But it’s entirely up to you.
I just took my son this past week! They check their gums/teeth, brush, put fluoride and start getting them acclimated to the dentist. Kids Fluoride toothpaste is okay to use now, just a tiny bit
Took him in July. They answered my questions. And they got him used to them looking in his mouth. And he got a ball
@Brianna regular dentist Yes. Pediatric dentist can see a kid as soon as they have teeth
As early as they get teeth or by their first birthday to get them use to the dentist.
First apt is next month
I haven’t yet, but my doctors sent me with a list but also informed me that most don’t see children until they’re 3.
