Sometimes it takes a few weeks or longer to consolidate learning. I’d give her some time - it’s not laziness
As mentioned above, a baby cannot be lazy. This all sounds developmentally normal. Let her take the lead
Thank you, people always said she was lazy. I never understood that term being used for a baby either. I agree with everything you all said. I just wanted to make sure it was normal. Some ppl I talked to said that she should be more motivated to master it so it made me worry. She also broke her leg when she turned 14 months while going down her slide and was in a cast for a month so I think it could just be that she is hesitant to get hurt again as well. Every baby learns at a different pace, it sounds like she’s just really starting to learn to trust herself with her movements. My daughter was the same when she learned how to walk. Once she understands she’s learned it, she’ll trust herself and get more consistent.
