Will estrogen & progesterone delay period when transfer has failed?

Yes they can

On a natural cycle, the progesterone is produced to make the endometrium ready for implantation after ovulation, if it does not occur, your body stops producing it and then you get your period. If you are getting progesterone externally you don't get your period. The decline of the progesterone is what is making you bleed. I work in fertility, also going through fertility process, started yesterday my second cycle 😋
