i had an emergency section august 2023 and was told i need to wait 12-18 months to make sure everything’s healed fully xx
My daughter will be 14 months when number 2 comes and I've been told I don't have to have a section x
Unfortunately I doubt you will be able to convince any OB to let you have natural birth … it is very dangerous and a big risk for rupture having another baby so close to your previous c section ..
Probably not what you want to hear but it’s most likely going to be a section. Especially if the reasons for baby 1s section was emergency or likely to happen again. I was told a minimum of 18 months between conceptions to allow my body to fully heal inside and out and to lower the risks for me and baby. Like others have said, uterine ruptures, high risk pregnancies lead to bed rest and probably elective section earlier than normal to make sure everyone is safe. It happens but it’s really not recommended for your body’s safety. A VBAC is just too much stress of your uterus that’s not fully healed and could lead to an emergency section and ruptures. They just want you both safe xx
I think you may have to come to terms with the fact that you’ll likely have another c section, it would be so dangerous to attempt a VBAC x
It's too high risk for a VBAC. Your incision isn't fully healed and could rupture in labour the strain on a weakness in your uterus is really high risk that early after a c section
I think professionals will definitely advise a further c section and probably won't let you go full term as the risk of uterine rupture is very high as you wont have healed internally properly yet, hence the 18 month recommendation. But I know these things happen and you have to think it's for the safety of you and your baby. Wish you all the best x
