He's 2 in November🙈 I feel so bady when his acting like this I teach him to be nice to everyone and when its kids older like 5-7 he plays with them but not with kids his age x
I fully believe you do lovely. I've had a Google as I'm guessing he's around the 18 month mark at least. I'd say you're doing everything right little ones pick stuff up differently. The older kids probably play and interact with him as opposed to others who he thinks are coming to take what he has. I will paste the Google paragraph below. Hope it reassured you lovely. Yes, it's normal for an 18-month-old to go through a "mine" phase: Developmental milestone: Saying "mine" is a sign that your toddler is developing an understanding of possession, which is a new skill and a normal part of their development. Testing boundaries: Toddlers are also beginning to test boundaries and gain independence. Understanding separation: Toddlers are coming to understand that they are separate individuals from others.

It's normal for this age and we should encourage our children play together but also we can't force I think. My 18 month old often goes to other children on the playground and gives them his toys expecting to play together and the others just run away and mine is confused😅 and other times some other child grabs his toy and mine bites them. I always try teaching and encouraging him but I don't think we should worry just yet as they are still so small
May I ask what age he is? He may just bring going through his mine phase x
