My son did too, it took a while to get him wearing any shoes. I used to tell him that he can’t go to park for a walk if he doesn’t wear shoes, not sure if he understood at that age. Now he is 3 he happily sits down in shoe shops and tries shoes on.

Aww omg what made him start walking we’re still having a little trouble with standing on his own I think he’s scared to fall

My LO hates shoes as well so we started letting her walk around the house w/them on for her get comfortable and then keep a separate pair of shoes in car for when she’s out at stores just keep germs out and it helped

@Zane he starts daycare in like a week and absolutely refuses to walk in his shoes or keep them on. 🤣 and I’m sure your son understood , babies are so smart❤️

@Armani my son was scared too🤣 I got him a push walker instead of a sit down one. Once he learned how to use that, he started taking his first solo steps pretty quickly after. His big sister would hold him up by his two arms and help him walk as well. They both loved that.

@Monae thank you! I have to stay consistent. He literally cries and kicks them off every time lol he won’t even stand with them on at all. He acts like it’s the end of the world🤣 but he loves being naked too so I’m not surprised by this.

@Armani play with your son in bed, we played a lot; so what we did was stood my daughter up and then played with her, let her fall of course but once she did that we got her right back up and do it all over again so when my LO started walking, once she feel she was use to getting back up and she been moving nonstop sense

@Tati Shawniece yessss I always hold his arms up and walk with him like that

You can try stride rite! My daughter loves them any others she kicks off

My son has been walking for a couple of months and I still can’t get him to keep shoes on. I put them on him all the time. Even at home so he can get used to them. But he just sits down and fiddles with them until he gets them off. Sometimes I put them back but usually I just say screw it I hate shoes too and I know eventually he will wear them. I just keep trying in the meantime.
