Baby Milestones

How’s everyone’s baby going with pulling to stand/standing assisted? I have a lot of friends with babies around the same age or younger and can’t help but compare with how far ahead they are even though I know I shouldn’t! My baby girl doesn’t crawl on all fours.. she just commando crawls. She’s pulled up once in her cot but hasn’t since and can’t anywhere else. When I hold her to stand or try get her to take a few steps, she stands right on her tip toes, sometimes completing bending them and she’s so so wobbly. She looks adorably uncoordinated 🥹 Is anyone else’s baby the same?

We’ve been commando crawling since 6 months and in maybe the last three weeks I’ve put Bub on the grass every day and she’s crawling properly. Still commando on tiles and to get somewhere quickly but grass and sand have helped.

We are much the same. Commando crawl when we want to get somewhere maybe one or two shuffles on all fours when playing. No real interest in standing but starting to pull up more. It really is hard not to compare and worry though.

My little one is commando crawling and has been for a month or two, but has now decided she would prefer to butt shuffle around. I’ve done a lot of little exercises to encourage crawling on all fours but she will just not have it. She is pulling herself up and standing, loves being ‘walked’ around but I don’t see her walking on her own anytime soon. My first was walking independently by this age and it’s so hard not to compare, but they really do just do it at their own pace/when they are ready. These physical milestones won’t even be a thought in a year’s time.
