Potty training - tips please

How do you start? Do you just remove the nappy one day and that’s it or ask them to go on a potty a few times a day?

i had the potty in the living room somewhere they can see it, take nappy off and let them run about in the buff:)) also if ur buying pants let them pick the style and your child will also know when is the right time. my little one was struggling with it but we just left him with his nappy off then one day when he had HFM he just took his pants down and used the potty

even get a chart to help encourage him/her and if they do use the potty just make it like a big thing!! loads of kisses and congrats ect

We are doing underwear so if he gets wet at all he feels it and knows and motivational things like potty charts, candy, cheering when he uses the potty

I think it depends how old your child is. I started my son when he was about 8-9 months old and he is 17 months now. I offer it when he wakes up first thing, after he eats, after we come in after being outside and after a nap. they generally won’t tell you when they need to go until they’re older so it’s best just to keep putting them on and if they need to do something they will and eventually they’ll learn that when they need to go they should do it in the potty rather than their nappy
