@Lisa well he tell me when he needs a poo and 5 mins later he will go
And he always saying wee wee
How old is he?
If he’s showing signs, take the nappy off and go for it! Gentle reminders every hour and lots and lots of praise! If there’s an accident then offer reassurance and that it’s ok! Good luck! ☺️
Have a potty anywhere you are - if you’re chilling in your living room, have one there for eg - encourage but don’t force, and call me out if you want but there is no point ‘waiting until they are ready’ because for some, they will never show all those signs even though they can cope with the ideas and practice of it (I work in a nursery and have potty trained lots!)
@Lisa just turned 2
@Courtney thank you!! But what happens when he goes to nursery? How do I work it with that?
Take lots of pants, trousers and socks! Just ask them to mirror ur behaviour at home, ask them to help support him. I’m sure they’ll be thrilled too! It’s such a big transition and if not an amazing one! Normally they master wee first before poo and at nursery there could be more accidents because it’s more of an overstimulating environment with lots going on! However as long as the staff are also consistent, he will smash it! Good luck 🫶🏽
@Courtney thank you so much!!
Make sure they are definitely ready for a start.
