@Kat I'm also tired of my mangers looking at me like his gunna fall out while I'm on the floor stocking, I just want this little guy out to finally meet n hold him
I'm surprised they're making you wait this long considering the changes the placenta begins to go through at 36 weeks gestation and onward.
@Leslie 36 weeks if I'm not wrong is technically full trem so any point after being induced should be aloud due to being full term, I'm so tired I sleep maybe 5 hours broken everyday before working my shifts and I'm stuck up 2 hours every 1 to 2 hours of sleep I get
37 weeks is considered early term and full term is between 39 -40 weeks. I just had my 3rd son via induction at 37 weeks and he had a lot of issues. I feel guilty over it still. He ended up in the NICU for a week but I was having a real hard time health wise (hypertension and diabetes) and my labs were not great so he needed to come out. If I could've waited, I would have but I definitely would not have gone past 40. Also cause the placenta itself starts to get gross from what i read (it calcifies)
@Leslie I requested at 39 weeks when I was sent to labor and delivery due to his bpp score being 6/8 to be induced n was told no since the monitors saying his 100% fine, I honestly think she don't want to induce me at all cuase his healthy
I'm 39+5 and already have an induction scheduled with my midwife for 41 weeks if I don't go into labor before then. Honestly I'm also incredibly uncomfortable so I'm going to see if they'll be willing to move it up at my next appointment.
@MK I hope it goes well for you , I don't understand my midwife atall since she refusing to induce me since his full term and I don't want to end up with a c section
That seems super frustrating! You have every right to request an induction at full term, elective inductions happen all the time.
@MK if he don't come out by my next appointment Monday imma request it since I can't do it thrusday since they fucked up n I had to change my appointment 😑😒 I'm not driving to 2 different places
I was told that I had to wait until I was 39 weeks before my OB would induce. I was over being pregnant at 35 weeks. I gave birth at 37+3 weeks. I drank pineapple juice and used my breast pump two times for 5 minutes. The last time I used my breast pump, 10 minutes later my water ruptured.
@Allana Nikpouri imma try again but I highly doubt she will
Mine is the same. I’m 40+6 living in Poland and I’ve been now 2 times since passing my due date and all they seem to say is “not yet”😩 All I want is to be able to get in and out of bed without all this pain and struggle
