Toys

I'm so tired of my son's toys being scattered all over the house instead of played with. Blocks, buzzles, counting toys, shape sorters etc. All are just a million little pieces scattered to the 4 corners! 🫠 I know less is better sometimes so tomorrow I'm going to put away all the little pieces and leave out a few cars, his wobble chair, his books, and a few other things, MAYBE 10 or so blocks.

My son has a whole playroom...but there are toys in the hallway, the living room, the dining room and the kitchen 🤦🏻‍♀️ His latest meltdown trigger is being unable to carry a million toys at once from the playroom to one of the above mentioned rooms 🤣🤣🙄😐

Tous everywhere here too 🙌

What I have started doing is a toy rotation. So put them in bins and bring out maybe 1 or two at a time and I teach them to cleanup after themselves too

Agree with above, I started a toy rotation. He has one basket of toys in the living room, the rest are put in bins in his room. I swap them around once a week or so. I’ve honestly eliminated a lot of toys with a million pieces..a lot of the times he didn’t play with them, just scattered pieces around so I put them up in his closet to be used at an older age. I feel like he plays with the toys more since there isn’t so many, I know I feel overwhelmed with there being so many everywhere I’m sure our kids do too.

Putting them all over the house *is* playing with them. You're just not a fan of the game. 🤣

I used to organize everything but lately I put most toys in the ball pit in the living room and leave out 4 or 5 for her room. I can't with all the mess.

@Melissa oh wonderful. Saves you a lot of stress trust me
