I did the 3 days no bottoms on (shirt on). This helped both us of learn cues and anytime he would pee I would take him to the potty and tell him he has to go pee and poop in the potty. By the third day i learned some of his cues but I would also tell him that it was time to go pee and see if he would. I started training him at 17 months and it wasn’t easy in my experience it took 3 months for him to go from many accidents a day to a couple every once in a while like when he’s playing. But I still look out for cues to make sure he doesn’t have an accident and he does tell me that he has to pee or poop which is awesome. When I notice he’s gone a while without using the bathroom I tell him it’s time to use the bathroom. When I first began, I had books and other things to have him sitting on the potty for a few minutes, we don’t use anything anymore. I also had a portable potty I would take with me. I brought him training pants after day 3 of the initial training too.

I believe it’s called 3 day potty training. There’s a lot of people who share their experiences online. Some said that the 3 days was enough for their toddler to understand. Others said 1 week or more. Other that started early said it was a longer experience but still worth trying. And I def recommend it. I’m glad I started early and would do it again

Oh crap potty training method. 7 days
