Help!!

When are you letting visitors to come see your newborn ? I wanted to wait 2 months until vaccines but I’m not sure 🤔. My mom said family will get mad at me, but I don’t care! Like I want to wait 2 months but baby was born full term too and healthy. I was thinking possibly if I let them, letting family wear masks and wash hands and not show up if sick. But still haven’t decided. What are y’all doing ?

We were gonna wait 6 weeks, so he could have vaccines, but he ended up in the NICU, so we let his grandparents meet him while he was there but the NICU would only allow parents and grandparents. So he met them but everyone else is gonna have to wait

We did that for my first (end of covid pandemic in 2022) and doing the same for this one. No kissing baby on face/hands either

We waited 2 months to have anyone see my first and plan on doing the same thing this go around. I also, didn’t allow her to be passed around. Kept her all to myself when they did visit 😂😂😂

I plan on waiting until January just to be on the safe side. Family will be upset but it better than risking the baby or me getting sick , and then leaving my husband to take care of the baby
