Checking gums
Does your LO let you check their gums? I’m 99% sure my sons tooth is about to cut through but I have no way of checking because he locks his mouth and pushes with his tongue.
Sometimes even a glass cup isn’t enough 😂 I’m guessing might be from discomfort

I use a glass cup and offer it him when he’s on his back he starts to suck do drinking motions and I look through the glass
I could keep a tab like that and his tooth broke through last week and I could hear it 2 days later in the glass too
