Non mover

LG still doesn’t crawl or walk. I feel it’s holding her back in so many ways. I see other toys her age getting to explore their environments, open cupboard doors, chase things of interest. All she does is sit. She’s not shown any signs of moving soon and I’ve tried everything.

Hey, have you tried surrounding her with other babies? Maybe going to different classes/sessions. Don’t stress about it aswell, babies do things according to their own timing.

My little one was like this so 4 weeks ago I I started to do the movements in stages , side sitting , on all 4 getting in and out of sitting but through the movement that he should move to get there and now he’s doing it himself he’s almost crawling but the legs and arms aren’t going together but I think in a few days he will be off, x

My baby is the same, I do feel like she's missing out, especially when we're in classes and babies much younger than her age moving around! But she seems happy so I don't think she wants to move yet!

I’m feeling the same very deflated! She’s 1 next week and she will pull herself along on the floor and get up on all fours but not use her arms and legs in sync! 😩 she will stand with furniture but not cruise. I’m feeling like a failure! My little boy was walking before his first birthday. It’s so hard not to compare xxx

Don’t worry. My girl started crawling on the day she got 11 months. First day she did it, and the next day she was going everywhere 😁 Kids are different, they have periods when they concentrate and develop other skills. I wish you patience and health.

Don’t stress. My friend’s baby is the same and her baby doesn’t go to nursery. Whereas mine has been going 4 days a week since 4.5 month old and he started walking at 10 months. I’m certain it’s dependant on their surroundings but isn’t a bad thing at all so please don’t be deflated. Your girl might even skip the crawling and go straight to walking. You’re doing an amazing job xx
