is this hand foot & mouth??

also - from what i remember from my oldest, the only thing that can be done is tylenol and it running its course right? can she still go trick or treating this weekend if she’s in a stroller and doesn’t actually come in contact with anyone??

Looks like it. I’d only take her if she literally doesn’t touch ANYTHING or anyone. Hfm is very contagious. I got it when I was 18 from touching a door handle.

It’s 48 hours from the appearance of the first spots according to my doctor and nursery, but online it says to isolate for 5-7 days. I didn’t take my son out for a week when he had it cause I was terrified of giving it to other babies, my son wasn’t even bothered by his but other babies won’t eat drink or sleep. I would say it’s not worth the risk🤷‍♀️

Although you are contagious for 3-7 days before the first spots even appear so🤷‍♀️ it’s personal option I think..

Looks like it. My doc told us 48 hrs fever free and all sores had to scan over. For us- that took 9 days.

my step daughter had HFM a couple months ago, she stayed at her moms an extra week to keep her baby brother from getting sick... and he still got HFM... it's insanely contagious.
