Windy colic baby

Hello! My newborn is 6 days old and he has been very windy baby. Im breastfeeding and after each feed he is struggling. I burp him and bend his legs to try to help with this. Started giving infacol and it helps a bit. I’ll stop having dairy/gluten for a while and see if it helps. Any other suggestions or experience sharing would be appreciated!

Following as mine is 5 days old and in exactly the same boat!!! Horrible hearing them so in pain and upset isn't it, one thing we're doing is keeping her in a sling on us all day and feeding in koala position, basically keeping baby as upright as possible is supposed to help. Also not having caffeine and dairy... Don't know if infscol is helping ours much tbh but think the uprightness is definitely helping

I’m struggling with the same my newborn is just over 3 weeks old now but has started grunting and scrunching her legs, it’s horrible to see because they look like they’re in pain! After she’s been winded it eases off - I second being upright baby likes it on my shoulder to be winded and laying on me helps soothe her x

Same here and it was getting worse and worse each day! She's grunting, bringing her knees to her belly, pushing, even arching her back and crying. Infacol helped a little bit which was not much but now we are also on biogaia probiotics which i guess both of them made it a lot easier for her to pass gas. She's 3 weeks old now. But also I've started pumping my milk and topping it off with formula as well, giving from anticolic bottles so she swallows less air and that had a big improvement on her. I would suggest trying probiotic drops for your newborn at first. They are safe to take! Keep giving infacol. After a week or so you can give 2 droplets of infacol if 1 doesn't do much!
