Flossing

My 18 month old has what looks like a piece of food, not in between his teeth, but stuck between his gum and bottom front tooth. Looks yellow so I’m thinking maybe it’s cheese? How do you get your LO to let you floss their teeth???

That happened to us before... I just had to leave it alone until it shifted and was visible enough to slide out the piece of food from under the gum.

You can try this: https://amzn.to/4eZa86p And also consider getting a pediatric dentist if they can take your child on.

I floss my sons teeth when needed, if they cooperate for brushing teeth it is very similar.

Thanks everyone. As of right now I’m just attempting to floss, brush good and even use a wet rag sometimes to try and loosen it up. Of course the spot that I need to floss the most he doesn’t cooperate. Definitely time to go to the dentist soon.

We use floss picks. It's easier than trying to get in their mouth than with just string.

I just use floss picks.
