@aria Thank you do you have any tips for massage? How do you do it? Or do you just do random bits?
I had this terribly. I was petrified it would be my entire life as it was so so sore. It’s naturally gone away, I saw a doctor who said the nerves needed time to heal and it can take up to 3 months I think it was. Mine has totally gone now, not numb, just not painful anymore. I’m 4 months since
Yeah I still have this, it's still a bit sore at times
The area you are describing for me feels numb. Like I literally don’t really feel anything there anymore :(
I still have slight numbness and my incision still keeps coming open almost 5 months PP! Doctor says all normal after major surgery, everyone heals differently and over time it’ll sort itself out. Not ideal in the immediate I know but know it shouldn’t last forever xx
Thank you everyone for your responses
There are some great videos on YouTube and tiktok. Ranging from a quick one to a longer massage. But I aim for clockwise then anti clockwise, pulling the skin upwards in small bits and big bits. Running my finger across to move the skin and rubbing up and down. Mainly focusing on going in all directions to avoid adherence
I have similar sometimes, massage helpsbit greatly. I just go harder in the areas where it is lumpy/hard/tender or numb. I think it's just healing still tbh. I also 4m pp
