If they’ve got a teat on them and baby has drunk directly from it, it can’t go back in the fridge. If you’ve decanted it into a different bottle, heated it up and have some left in the original bottle then yes :) it should say on the packaging how long it can be kept refrigerated but usually 24-48h.
Same as what Amy said. If baby is drinking directly from the bottle then any not used has to go in the bin. If you're decanting it then remaining milk can go in the fridge 😊
By decanting milk do you mean pouring into an actual bottle? Xx
Sorry if it’s a stupid question xx
Yeah so putting some of it into another bottle 😊 I brought the C&G starter set with my little girl and used that in Hospital. I poured the amount I needed into single use bottle that labour ward provided 😊
Aww okay that sounds easier. How do I know how much to give and how often for a newborn? Xx
Where do I find this information? Xx
The midwife and health visitor will advise you on this. A baby stomach is so tiny when there first born so they initially take like 20 to 30 mls and that gradually increases. The formulae milk tubs do have guidance on the back
I think they are to be used within 24 hours as long as they've gone in the fridge, but from what I remember they say it on them x
