Because they are teenagers 😂
I have two and went from the coolest to cringe in breakneck speed
@Nika No one could have prepared me for the teenage years. My son turned 13 this year and lordy
@Violeta💕 My 13 year old is still pretty sweet but the 15 year old gives me mood swing whiplash 🤣🙄 but my little one also just went to his first dance and movie date so I see my time is short before he morphs lol
@Nika the mood swings whiplash OMG. I was already thinking he was developing a mood disorder 😭...but my therapist said it's typical for their age. Why!!!???
My daughter is only 10 and even the way I breathe is embarrassing!!! Lord help me when she becomes an actual teen 😫
@Violeta💕 yup! You cannot make sense out of nonsense! I swore it would be easier with boys but they’re juuuuust as moody! The sighs, the eye rolls, all of it!
My 16 year old wouldn’t take his grandads bag back to him because of how it looked and he couldn’t be ‘seen’ with it 🙄
My 16 year old seems embarrassed of everything I say but he has zero filter and says ridiculous crap all the time that I wouldn't have been caught dead saying in front of my parents. Apparently it's okay when he does it though 🤷♀️😅
@Rachel boys 🤦🏻♀️ learning the teenage lingo is like learning a whole new language.
@Violeta💕 lol YERP! 🤣🥴 wtf is a skibbidy??! Yeet! And I’m officially bruh. The artist formerly known as mom. It’s insane!
I’m comforted by the amount of boy moms who relate!
@Nika it's funny comparing it to what we used to say back in the day.
Just had to come back and comment again because I just had a moment with my son while we were driving. I pointed out a tree with bright orange leaves and said it was pretty and he said no it's not. Then a minute later he said, "I love fall and it is a pretty tree but you said it so I couldn't agree with you." 🤦♀️🤦♀️ When does this phase end? Anyone on the other side yet?

@Rachel omg. 🤦🏻♀️
They are trying to figure out who they are as a person outside of their family, and tend to turn towards peers for this time instead. It’s super normal and they will come back to you eventually 😅
