I think they’re suppose to help take the scar away/make it less prominent & bumpy

Following as I just had my section on Monday and was interested in using them to see if they helped at all.

Following.. my mom just sent me some that she used for her recent surgery

Following as I had the same question

Also following as I've seen these advertised alot recently and I'm curious about them but my twins aren't due till the beginning of March 😊 xx

I had a c section 5 weeks ago and used a patch yesterday and it was really uncomfortable. It felt like it was pulling it the wrong way if that makes sense.. Maybe too soon to use these but I thought it would be better than not having it covered at all. It was pretty irritated after I took it off too. It says to use it once the scar has no scabbing or open areas which I don’t have… But perhaps too soon to use it, I’ll wait another couple of weeks. But so far personally I don’t recommend

I started wearing the Frida mom silicone patches from 11 weeks pp due to having an opening which delayed me wearing them from 6 weeks. I did find that it was bit uncomfortable to begin with but they do advise you to wear for a few hours a day and build up each day until you can wear them all the time (only removing to wash them / change patch to fresh one). I’m 15 weeks pp and wear mine for full day / overnight and only remove to take shower / clean etc. I’ve found that they have reduced the redness of my scar and I also have a lump above the left of my scar (believe it was tissue build up) which has reduced a lot and is nearly flat. It also helps with itchiness and keeps it protected from rubbing.
