C section honeycomb dressing

Question for those that have had a c section and were given a honeycomb dressing - HOW are you removing the adhesive?! Wearing black pants, the leftover adhesive just looks awful and I am really struggling to get rid of it, especially closest to my scar as it’s so sore. Any tips?

I was still on hospital when mine came off and one of the midwives gave me a medical wipe that people with diabetes use when they have to stick their sensors to their arms. That got it off and I didn’t have to rub too hard. I’m not sure if they’re something you can buy normally though, but you might be able to ask a midwife or a nurse?

Use olive oil, it really helps!

adhesive removal wipes! i tried everything for weeks and they got them off straight away!!

Baby lotion worked for mine with cotton wool 😀

Ah amazing, thanks everyone!

@Johanne I thought about olive oil but was just worried about getting it in the wound/scar….

@Jordan if you do it with cotton wool you will be okay :) just rub away from the scar
