C section enquiries…
Hi, I had an emergency c section on Monday the 14th October and I am still feeling pain in my stomach when weeing and pain when I try to open my bowels… is this normal symptoms after a c section or should I be concerned???

Oh good I’ve currently had a water infection too and finished my antibiotics but it still hurts my belly but didn’t know if they was still normal
I had pain for 4 or 5 weeks, I was told not to worry and it did resolve. So think it's relatively normal. Do mention to your HV though JIC. X
I personally didn’t. Even if it is normal, I’d speak to your HV as it is better to check and there to be no issues than not check and to have an issue. Hope you feel better soon.

Yh totally normal u just had major surgery and had 7 layers cut into and pulled apart and had ur organs moved around. Think it wasn't until week 3 when it stopped being uncomfortable. Use a pillow to support ur stomach when going toilet helps with the pain
