Vraylar & Positive Test
Hello! My dr just started me on Vraylar two days ago and this morning I had a very positive pregnancy test. I’m a week late and we’ve been trying for a baby so I’m super excited but I also know antipsychotics can sometimes cause false positives. Just wondering if anyone has had a false positive test on Vraylar.

I'm not sure about the false positive but I know everyone is different. What I will say is I'm 35 weeks and started Vraylar about 2 months ago and it's all about doing what you feel is best for you and your baby as well as listening to your doctor. I've been on numerous heavy duty medications and needed something to keep me level headed so this medication was suggested to me until I give birth. I can't speak to how well it works because I'm used to other medications but it does help at least a little bit. Sometimes something is better than nothing and we have to weigh the odds for our mental health Congratulations 🙂🎉 I'm excited for you and your little one 😊

Never heard of antipsychotics causing false positives. But what I do know is you should absolutely not take vraylar while pregnant.
