Potty training

I’m going through it right now. We just ended day 4 of potty training and I’m emotionally wrecked. She seems to get the concept with some accidents here and there, but she went almost 3 days without pooping. She finally pooped before bath time and she threw a tantrum to get back on the toilet. She cried and screamed after her bath (we let her back on the toilet multiple times), and screamed her head off until she finally fell asleep. I feel like this was a mistake , but I also know this is all something scary and new to her (and holding in poop for days is stressful). Anyone else go through this? Is this normal? Does it get better soon?? 😭

We started the first week of October. The first week and a half was hell. She wouldn’t poop for three days as well. She’s turned a corner and it’s so much easier now. Keep going it’ll get better. And maybe there will be some regression at some point but it always gets better.

We started beginning of October too! My son has been pooping pretty regularly on the toilet but has been having lots of accidents peeing…. I’ve been giving him books or playing music while he’s on the toilet and giving him a treat if he uses the toilet. We still need to work on leaving the house without a pull up on and he always pees in it. Hope it gets better!!

Imagine me! I started at 18 months 🤣🫣😅😭,… I got told by his school that the best indicator that they’re close to figuring out the potty training is when they start taking the lead in it. So I just take him here and there so he doesn’t forget. Who knows tho 🤷🏻‍♀️ I get anxious wondering if I should do more so I bought a program by lovevery to see if it helps
