First induction was a failed pessary then 27 hours from waters being broken and placed on hormone drip. Second induction was 3 hours from waters being broken, didn’t need drip as my body took over. No C section for either
4 days - labour stated for to 5CM and ended in a emergency c-section
I was induced and 8.5 hours later had my daughter, no C-section.
3 hours from start of the induction, 2.5 hours of labor. No c section
So todays my due date and no signs yet. I’ve got to see a consultant Tuesday because of baby being big. I have a 2 year old at home I can’t risk being in hospital a long time but dread c section recovery. Xx

@Incog It not being your first baby, being full term, and baby being on the bigger side are actually factors that can help an induction go better! I was a FTM, only 37W, and baby was 4lb 6oz. Kind of inevitable for it to take forever and have interventions. Hope it goes quickly and smoothly for you!
But if it helps my second (18 months apart) was a planned c-section and recovery was just fine!
I was induced , 8am (2cm) started contractions at 12pm was 6cm by 1:15 was (9cm) started to push at 2:45pm and she was born at 3pm
Induced due to having preeclampsia. Lasted 3 days and ended in C-section
I was induced with the pessary at 9pm on the Sunday had very mild contractions throughout the night/ following morning waters broke on there own at 2:15pm and at 3pm he was here… was also home by 9pm 😅 x

5 days and counting… I’ve already passed my due date
About 10 hours. No c section
I honestly think you’ll be absolutely fine with it being a big baby and your second baby. I think it’ll be super fast like my second was!! (Was also a big baby)
5-6hrs Had induction with my first too. So the second one was a planned induction when i passed my EDD
I put 1 day but it was actually 1 hour 20 minutes from first contraction. Took 10 hours to go into labour though.
5 days then ended in c-section 🙁
Got induced with the pessary 10:30am, was in labour by 1pm, had baby at 10:17pm no c section x
My induction kicked off labour within 30 mins, I had him 23 hrs later
5 days and ended in c-section
