Baby can’t stand up without hands or sofa

Baby is 13 months today and still unable to stand on her own doesn’t seem to want to.. When she does she tries without her arm to support! She can pull to stand on any object but should I be worried she can’t do it alone yet?

My son is the same , can pull to stand and walks happily when his hands are held but is really reluctant to stand on his own and just cries when we try. I'm not worried , they'll get there when they are ready 🙂

I would say no, she can stand supported which is good. If the wasn't doing that then I'd be calling the HV. But some LOs don't stand independently or walk until 18ish months. One day you will turn around and she just there following you stood up. Keep encouraging her to cruise and when you can try to help her walk while holding her hands for support so she can work out the movements and build the muscles 🙂 she will get there.

My boy is 13 months and can’t stand or walk unassisted yet, I’m not worried! He can walk great holding hands and pulls himself up/cruises etc. they’ll get there when they’re ready :)

Totally normal my first little boy didn’t walk without holding on until 16 and a half months and once he did it he wouldn’t stop I think a lot of times it’s a confidence thing as well but at 13 months this is totally normal and I wouldn’t be concerned x
