Thoughts on my offerings idea?

I have 4 boys (and my first little witch on her way!) but I have 4 boys that love to collect random little things while we’re out. Rocks, shells, sticks, acorns, you name it. I usually tell them put them back for the things around here. But I had a thought of getting a bowl or something that can sit outside the door and we can put the random findings in the little offering bowl outside the front door. This way they can see and remember the things they collect and I can have a little offering bowl for the spirits of the house.

This is actually a pretty good idea. Never thought about doing that, I made a rock garden that things like that go into, but never thought about doing it in a bowl for offerings. 👍 Great idea.

I think thats precious. My kiddo and I are also avid collectors so we have lots of shells and twigs around the house. We usually end up using the shells for spells or energy clearings and the twigs will mostly end up back outside as “trees” that we put in the ground. The offerings bowl is a great way to keep all of the good juju in one place! Maybe it would be the perfect place for a protection candle on busy nights too, like halloween or during holidays😉

Babies have an amazing ability to find these things their purity she’s them all sorts of things, my girls are the same way, what we’ve done is start a flower garden with their tributes as the separation

Looove! My son loves that too and I try to put somethings in my altar or his “nature table” (his version of altar) but we have so many things, thanks for sharing, I feel is a very magical practice I’ll try it with my son 🤎🤎🤎
