Hepatitis B Vac

Did anyone decide not to vaccinate their child for hep B, and why not? I’m on the fence about it

I was too. For the longest time. Literally the longest time. I space out and delay vaccines as long as possible. I've looked at countries that are pro children and they all recommend the same vaccines. And that eased my doubts a little.

I just delayed until the first follow up visit at like 1 week. Just because I didn't like the idea of her having several pokes as a fresh newborn

I avoided it completely. 🤷‍♀️ And because I'm anti-vax after having done very extensive research on the matter. Ive read many books, articles, and studies on this matter and this decision was very weighted. I'm entitled to my own opinion as is everyone so please no hate! 🫶

I’m doing all vac other than Covid and flu. Since they are the only ones I don’t even personally have and his dad got the Covid one and had some bad lasting side effects but with hep b we all have been fine so side effects not even a fever

I highly suggest doing your research about vaccines. There's a reason countries with higher vaccination rates have lower infant morbidity and mortality rates. Everyone should do what they feel is right for their family but the decision should be an informed one. Get your info from peer reviewed, scholarly articles from appropriate sources!
