I’ve only just given my daughter a blanket at over 2.5 and that because I’m soon going to be transitioning her to a big girl bed. She still wears a low tog sleeping bag as well just in case she kicks it off in her sleep. Maybe look at higher tog sleeping bags?? I used to do that and then pop one of my LG blankets over her. I’d be a bit nervous with a duvet at 1 tbh. I have to check several times a night on my daughter now just to make sure it’s okay on her still.
@Scarlett we don’t use the sleeping bags anymore, he doesn’t like them as he sleeps in some funny positions and can’t move his legs a lot 😅
They do tog rated sleepsuits, I know TU as a brand definitely do. So same as a sleeping bag for warmth but can move a lot easier as it’s shaped around limbs
About a week after his first birthday back in June I gave him a pillow and 4 tog duvet. We then had a heatwave so he kept the pillow but I put him back in a lighter tog sleeping bag. He had the duvet back in August and has been loving it!
He sleeps next to me and takes over my pillow lol. I bought him a pillow and duvet when he turned two. Got them from ikea along with the little pillow and duvet covers. They’re so cute 😊
My boy is 1 today, he’s slept with a pillow for about a month and a duvet for about a week and he is loving it? He will still move around a lot and end up with no blanket on him but when he gets cold I’ve watched him pull the duvet back over him!xx
My son got a blanket at two and a half. Still haven't given him a pillow yet, though he's getting one for Christmas so we'll see if he actually uses it 😂
I personally used pillow and blankets since birth. He’s now 5 years old and has a thing with blankets (I’m a blanket lover 😅). Even when he’s 5 years old, I still check up on him when he’s asleep.
